JFIMS Health and Safety Policy

James Fisher Inspection and Measurement Services Limited (JFIMS) aims to deliver products and services to a high standard and lays great emphasis on the importance of safety, quality and the impact of the Company's operations on the environment

JFIMS Health and Safety Policy is to comply with the terms of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 , the Management of Health and Safety at Work regulations 1999 and subsequent  amendments and to provide and maintain a healthy and safe working environment. The Company’s health and safety objective is to minimise the number of instances of occupational accidents and illnesses and ultimately to achieve an accident-free workplace. All employees are provided with such equipment, information, training and supervision as is necessary to implement this policy and achieve the stated objective.  JFIMS is a member of RoSPA.

JFIMS Quality Policy

JFIMS Quality Policy is to ensure that products and services provided to customers are fit for their intended purpose, conform to Customer Requirements, National and International Standards and Company Procedures, and to continually improve the quality of these goods and services. The JFIMS group has quality system accreditations in the form of industry standard BS EN 9001:2000 for its equipment supply, repair and maintenance business, and BS EN ISO 17025:2005 for its NDT Inspection Business. The company is regularly audited internally, by customers and by independent assessors (by NQA for BS EN 9001:2000 and UKAS for BS EN ISO 17025:2005) to ensure it meets the requirements of these standards. In addition, the NDT Inspection Business is accredited to Nadcap and has numerous customer accreditations.

JFIMS Environmental Policy

It is the policy of JFIMS is to comply with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations and review the environmental aspects of working practices and designs and pursue all activities within its control in such a way as to reduce their environmental impact. In order to achieve the aims of this policy we will implement an environmental management system in accordance with, and accredited to, ISO 14001:2004.
