Teledosimeters are personal alarming dosimeters which transmit their data back to a base station in real time, allowing workers operating in remote or challenging environments to be monitored continuously. The WRM2 system is a complete personnel and area monitoring system which can be rapidly set up when required.
The core of the system is a wireless transmitter which clamshells around a dosimeter from the DMC2000 range and transmits dose data via a 900 MHz transmitter. The PAM Trx clamshell also features enhanced alarm functions for operating in noisy industrial environments including LEDs, a vibrate mode and a buzzer which delivers 85 dB at 30cm range.
The transmission range of the PAM Trx is 1800 m line of sight. This can be enhanced with repeater units as required by the building layout.
