The military, emergency services and civil defence agencies have unique requirements for radiation protection of personnel and the public. Specialist products for this segment include appropriate personal dosimetry and hand-held search and frisk probes for detecting, locating, identifying and classifying radioactive material. JFIMS has experience in supporting the specific challenges of radiation protection in the military environment with rugged and dependable radiation detection and measurement equipment (RDME) and support services. JFIMS supply the SOR/T military dosimeter and its associated reader and software currently in-service. JFIMS also supply the RDS200 rate meter and associated probes used in the New Dimension programme.
